I had seen all sorts of podcasts about the benefits of cold water showering but it took a long time to convince my mind to try it.
Today is already the 15th consecutive day I’ve showered with cold water and I thought I’d share with you the benefits I’ve noticed these days.
Anyone who has tried it may have noticed that the first day is awful. I think I managed to stay for a few seconds at most, being a person who prefers heat.
The fact that I didn’t make it made me want more so I made it my goal every day to last at least 2 minutes.
Starting from the second day even though I felt that the sensation was unpleasant and my body was asking me to get out as soon as possible, I continued to resist.
Probably this is where the first benefit comes from and that is resisting things that are not very pleasant.
The fact that you manage to control your mind even though your body doesn’t agree is something worth experiencing for everyone.
Secondly, I learned to be consistent and to do this every day even if there were days when all I wanted to do was lie in bed in the warmth.
Plus every time after I get out of the shower I feel extremely motivated and ready to get to work.
Thirdly, now at the end of September when all my colleagues and friends are complaining about the cold, I feel very comfortable in my T-shirt.
Cold water showers certainly won’t change your life as many influencers say, but it will teach you some important lessons and I think it’s worth trying at least once.
Remember this is indicated for people who have no health or heart problems.
Have a nice day 👍👍👍
